Gasoline production using the technology of GTL (gas to liquid)
|
Considering the natural gas resources in Sarakhs zone and exploiting GTL technology, it is possible to transform natural gas into some productions like methanol, di methyl ether (DME), gasoline and kerosene.
Using GTL technology, the project of 1100 barrels gasoline per day is going to be started by German company of SPG (investment is about 40 million dollars) and is possible to expand to 3 units.

Gasoline production using the method of HTR in Sarakhs zone
|
Exploiting technology of German company of PEPCO in three methods of HIGH–TEMPERETURE – REACTOR and using 3 million liters of gasoline with octane 92-96 per annum.

Establishing export terminal for oil and blinding productions – producing and packing oil products in strategic border of Dogharoon between Iran and Afghanistan
|
Regarding the importance of Afghanistan market and the need of this country to oil and petrochemical productions, medicine, cement, building material and food and also the relation of Afghanistan, China and Pakistan, the above plan is possible to be executed by the cooperation of main productive companies. The preliminary investment including establishment, tanks, power, building, water and … is about 20 million Euros.

Establishing petrochemical unit in Sarakhs energy zone
|
The above mentioned unit is included of 3 petrochemical plants:
1- Producing DME and methanol from natural gas. The goal of this plan is transforming 1292 million cube meter natural gas to 1.7 million metric ton of methanol.
2- Producing propylene from methanol. The goal of this plan is transforming 1.7 million metric ton propylene and 118 thousand metric ton of gasoline and 90 thousand metric ton of LPG.
3- Producing poly propylene from propylene. The goal of this plan is transforming 450 thousand metric ton poly propylene from propylene. This production will be packed as granola in different grades.
The total amount of investment is about 850 million Euros.
